Happy summer everyone! I know it's been a while but, what can I say.. summer has once again, proven to be the quickest season of the year. Memorial Day is a mere memory and The Fourth of July has gone out with a bang(but not before I was able spend some great weekends on not-so far -away islands and find terrific mid season summer shopping deals)... but I digress. Where was I? Oh, yes, days flying by. Mid-summer. And where does that leave us? Well, since I am a glass-is-half-full kind of girl, I'd say that leaves us with many, many lazy hazy crazy days of summer still stretching ahead. The days I've spent on the beach were perfect but the man in my life (Oliver, my black lab- of course!) reeallllly likes the waves at night.

The village seems to be filled with happy tourists this summer. It's great to see all the new faces that stroll through and remind us how lucky we are to live and work in such a "Norman Rockwell painting" as someone called it today. Then there's the locals that jet in and out to get their soap and creams on an early Saturday morning trying to beat the crowds. Hey- they need a little pampering, too!

Speaking of pampering, June and July have brought some great deliveries of new pj lines (Kim and I attended a loungewear show in Massachusetts with a goal of seeking out more affordabe and a little sexier lines and we were very happy with our finds).
